Just started recently to read your blog; thanks for your advice and thoughts. I was touched by your post &quot;don&#039;t give a hoot if you want real inner confidence&quot; (probably from long ago) because it touches the core of what I think is confidence: to develop and stick to your own line of thinking/action in which YOU feel happy. Too often we do or think what is expected of us out of fear what the other or &quot;society&quot; might think or might consider &quot;successful&quot; - this leads to a &quot;fake&quot; identity and is very hurtful in the end. 

I have experienced that to the full extent and I had to rebuild my confidence from scratch; luckily I have got some people who are helping me, but I always have to be alert to keep my thoughts positive and constructive. Confidence-building websites are a great aid to stay on track and not to give in to the forces of mainstream society. Keep up the good work. Regards,
