I&#039;m joining this conversation only a few months late, but I &lt;em&gt;have to&lt;/em&gt; join it because you&#039;ve stated so well what I&#039;ve been saying for years now.

Yes, indeed.  Goals are just a way to get grouchy about what you don&#039;t have.  And wanting something other than what you have right now is an absolute 100% guaranteed way to be miserable, suffering, struggling.

The whole goal-driven concept was what made me dissolve connections with the coaching fraternity some 3 years ago.
