Thanks Steve – I’ll be doing another follow-up on it soon, and in chatting with another fellow on Twitter, I think I may be starting up a new venture to address this kind of thing. Some kind of way of meeting like-minded people so we can work together. I’ll keep everyone posted at my blog.

This is a really great piece – thanks for the pingback too – I have to say, your closing paragraph is the best part.

I really could not have said it better myself – that is just so good, so clear – “engage with the things that have meaning and relevance… and reject or let go of the rest”.

Get that message to the leaders of our countries, and make them understand it. Get everyone to understand it.
