		<description>I lived through the &quot;Savings and Loan Crisis&quot; of the 1980s without missing a day of work, and I worked for one of the banks in SF that was taken over by the feds.  My mother survived the depression, along with the rest of her family.  So what is it exactly we are afraid of?  Consuming less is better for the planet, and job trends shift to push employment in another direction. As long as you have family and friends, you can make it through anything.</description>
