The man is a leader amongst men. He sees his goal and will do what it takes, no matter what. Even if his country is willing to turn their backs to him, he will fight for what he stands for because within him, it's the right thing to do. There is no limit to the possibilities within him and he understands that. Others don't, and that's what separates Jack from the rest of the world. Who wouldn’t want to be Jack Bauer.
